COUNSELLING LOGO
I won the college competition for this piece. The counselling was aimed at students at my college and my brief was to design an interesting image or logo for posters, stickers, banners and flyers. It had to be cost-effective and it had to impact the wide range of people that attended the college. I designed this poster to encourage students to use college counselling service. The expressions on the face symbolise how a stressed or worried person may become happy if they talk about their problems. The circle represents a face and the question marks symbolise the ears of a confused person. This links with the caption "Can anyone hear me?" which I think sends a profound message. I used simple blue and white colours which I think displays a positive image, whilst I also used black and white faces to encourage people from all ethnic groups to talk about their problems to the counselling service.
